Is birth more like death?
At birth - we lose our memories and grow and form a new identity.
Is birth really more like how we view as death - or is there some continuity? |
There are definite similarities between the processes. Whether folk see them probably depends on their individual level of spiritual progress. Without some understanding of the before-life, life in-the-body, death followed by so-called afterlife it can be a puzzling situation.
Continuity is a fundamental of all those processes and each would be pointless - and largely meaningless - without all the others. |
They are alike in the way you see bright light. Bright light at birth, then bright light at death.
|
I would say so, they are both transition points.
|
I believe they are similar.

From what I have read, our souls view rebirth much like our earthly bodies view death. Unpleasant.
|
Both birth and death are only a concept that implies that what we are essentially Is or resides in a body. What appears to be a body being born and dying is happening within consciousness which is not born and wont die.
It doesnt affect reality (or consciousness/god/awareness etc) which is the ONLY "thing" there is. |
If you understand why birth occurs or the purpose of the manifest world, then this will answer questions.
Perhaps it is hard to understand but when humans discuss such things they are repeating thoughts they have been taught. They are not "thinking", they repeat. If you strip out all you have learnt then you will be able to experience directly. However that cannot be done at the beginning. A process of maturation is required before the shell can be removed. |
Well, birth and death are the parts of the same life mechanism. Like Yin Yang.
|
Both birth and death are the parts of life. They both completes each other. the one who take birth have to die one day this is an ultimate truth.
