An NDE'r thinks life is a stageplay with actors.

A different take on NDE's but very thought provoking!

Given that time is an illusion, which is connected with space, and gravity?

Which is what Physics has concluded since Einstein.

Next year, btw, will be 60 years since Einstein passed.

I didn't think it was a diff take.
But I have read so so many.We are acting out a part
if we are bring a serial killer...
like the actor in a movie being a serial killer...basically is what I got.
More interesting around 17 minutes for me.
By the end the guy was not interesting to me anymore...
he is no Anita Moojani..as a speaker or personality.

But, thank you so much bringing it to our attention.
I'm going to watch more that are listed on the right now.

so did Shakespeare. i can see how many think it is. we take on a personality for a life assignment and mistakenly think it is what we are. but it is only a part we play until there is another play we become a part of.

I had an STE that had similar information. In my experience, I had been transported to a spiritual place where people were filming a movie. I watched them film, and I knew everything about the movie as they were going about filming it, and suddenly I had an idea about how to improve the movie they were making. I approached the producer to tell him my ideas. He told me to talk to the director instead, who also happened to be the writer of the movie as well.

She and I got along great from the start, and loved all my ideas. We sat down with the whole crew where the ideas were presented, and then she thought she would like to incorporate a character for me in the film as well.

Suddenly I am in the film, acting in the film. My story was a bit of a tragedy, but with a happy ending (like a tragic life, but with good things that come at the end of one's life instead of a happy life with something tragic happening to them that leads to their demise).

I then got to "walk through" a sort of "behind-the-scenes" of the people working on the film, meeting the people who were making the film possible. I met people who recognised me (as if we had worked together before), and a person I met whom I recognised as someone I would work with in regards to this film. (The way time flows here did not exist in this experience; everything happened when it was time to make a certain thing clear, thus not necessarily happening in a way we would consider chronological.)

When the movie was done, I got to see it again, but I felt completely detached from it, like it wasn't "me". It was just a story. The story was full of meaning and understanding, but my ego didn't identify with it any more like when it did when I was making the movie.

A great deal of what this gentleman talks about makes perfect sense to me. I do agree with Miss Hepburn, though. Anita Moojani is probably the most amazing NDE speaker/writer I have ever heard/read.

I also tend to think of life as being just souls acting out lives and adventures on a stage. We create our own stories, nothing is set in stone and lots of improv around a basic open script.

I agree with this NDE. Our assignments, personalities, and destinies are only a small part of our entire divine self. Our souls are so much bigger than this Earthly ego. The Earthly ego is a character we are playing for a duration of time. If we act the part correctly and progress, we get closer and closer to becoming companions with "the Director" or "God", co-directors. If we overly-identify with the parts we play or play it terribly and retard, we grow further from "the Director".

Evil usually comes from overly identifying with the small selves we have on Earth. Of course "the Director" is totally in charge and nothing ruins his masterpiece that he even uses the "bad actors" or the "villains" as tools to make his cosmic Motion Picture even greater than what it was. Even evil serves a purpose.

I'd rather become a co-director with "the Director" than be a janitor for the stage LOL :D

The idea that the director was god - I actually hadn't thought of it! So it's funny - God is a feisty red-headed woman y'all! Just thought you ought to know! :laughing9:

In my STE, though, I didn't feel anybody at the table was more or less of a co-creator than anybody else. Everybody's ideas at the table were valid, and we could all contribute our own stories. So that being said, I don't know if there is a hierarchy of development per se. Like there's no comparison of where you are and where I am. No matter what my understanding of the whole, I am always able to co-direct. So maybe I am pushing a broom, but if I went to the director with my ideas, they are still equally valid as the actor's or the producer's ideas to the director overall, you know?

I think in each life we live we play a different character and the world is our stage

My past life memories strongly support this idea, and my NDE experiences in this life gave me a glimpse of what it's like to approach the gateway to the Other Side and prepare to change from the character back into the actor I actually am.
