Empath
 

Hi all, I have a great skill that I had when I was young and still have today.
Today my empath seems to be very strong with my mother more than anyone else. I have felt my mother's feelings and she has hurt me emotionally:icon_frown: -it a angry hate feeling that's coming from her. I have ended up hateing her in return and I cannot talk to her about this.

I do not mind having this gift, but I do not know what this skill is for and what to do with it. What am I to do and how to use this skill?
Why am I the one feeling this love-hate feelings that comes from my mother which hurtes me?

Hi goldentimes. You're old enough to choose a lifestyle for yourself that avoids hurt feelings from family members. If it means putting space and distance between you and them, just do it. Being hurt is really just hanging on to unpleasant stuff that happened in the past. Move on and take steps to avoid it in the future as I said.

What you're asking is for people to analyze the dynamics between you and your mother. Nobody can do that other than a counselor perhaps. If it were me counseling you, the first question I would ask is why you are allowing this particular relationship to continue on in this fashion?
