I've found eating a banana for gas trapped in your stomach, does wonders. Banana's are fantastic for eliminating gas in the stomach.

the hay diet is great, especially for indigestion

I love ginger .... capsules, or crystallised ginger for stomach stuff.

There is an even simpler remedy for trapped gas in the stomach that I discovered. Best done lying down - simply massage the area! At first gently, getting progressively firmer. I have found that the area usually has a slight/dull pain which, when actively massaged (sometimes in very small, deep circles with fingertips) can get things moving! If lying down is not possible, i.e. not at home then it works reasonably well from a sitting position - would need the whole flat palm of the hand going in and circulating.
