A Question about conscious vs. unconscious OBE

Some claim that we OBE regularly, but do not "remember" it. If this is so, in those times we remember, why do we act as though we are new to all of this?
Most of the threads here have to do with those who want to have a remembered obe, but whose experience is that of a beginner. Shouldn't the question be, "How do I remember clearly?" because, given the ages of the posters, we should have a vast ammount of experience to draw from.
Could it be that we are experienced in lucid dreaming (which may or may not be a form of obe--a separate issue.) and not obe?

I have extremely vivid recall and assumed this until I started into therapy and learned it is not a "normal" assumption. Well, shoot, nobody ever talked about it in my world. "Normal people" know more about the surface of Mars than they know about the 1/3 of their lives they spend sleeping.

My therapists are still trying to convince me that "How much do you remember?" is NOT the pertinent question. But then, I still believe I have enjoyed out-of-body-experiences with earthworms, etc. I reckon I need more therapy.

Glad you posted this here. I still haven't decoded "AP." I am pretty sure it isn't "Advanced Placement." I am new here.
