Posting a picture?
 

I want to post a picture of Beauty on her thread, but for some reason it's not letting me :confused: It's a picture of a tortoiseshell cat lying down thinking if she doesn't look at the camera it can't see her so it's definitely not a picture you wouldn't want children to see. I read the rule thread but it doesn't say anything on there about pictures not being allowed :confused:

Just go to photobucket and join and then download your pictures, after that you can copy your pictures from there to insert image in the window of SF reply. http://photobucket.com/

I don't think you can edit your profile or add an avatar until you have been a member for 14 days and have posted 25 posts ....... I believe posting pictures falls under the same category as avatars ......

edit ..... psychoslice is right though ...... Photobucket is a very good way to go ...... it's free, and very easy to use once set up. If you need help using it, just PM me ...... I would be glad to help. :D

I used photobucket but it wasn't having any of it ............ thanks for the help anyway ....................

No problem ...... I reckon it's that you have only just joined ...... not be long before you can start posting pics ..... :color:

The picture I want to post is one of the best I ever got of her ... she was painfully camera shy, bless her .......... bit like me lol ......................

Try Imageshack - you don't have to sign up.



1st save the picture to your computer (My pictures or somewhere)

Then hit the browse button on the imageshack page and go to where the pic is located on your computer and doubleclick it.

Then hit the upload button on the imageshack page.

Then wait ...and when it comes up - copy the line that say's 'forum code' and paste it into the box that comes up when you hit 'image insert' at the top of the Spiritual forums message post box.

(note. The first time you hit 'insert image' in the SF box you may have to press a bar that comes up along the top of your page and 'allow temporary scripted windows'...and then do it again' for some reason) . :smile:

Yes I didn't realize that you just joined, photobucket will work when your allowed to post pictures, just have patient's.
