What to do?
 

Erm, yeah, I suppose there is only one "energy" in question here so this seems to be the right forum.


What do you do to "release" the energy, that is, let it flow freely? Because it feels like it gets stuck at a certain point.

Nature is very good for releasing and grounding stuck energy. Sit at the base of a tree for a while and ask mother earth to take the excess.

I think it gets stuck in the heart chakra. I don't feel anything in the throat and I have an uneasy feeling in the middle of my head and at the crown I feel damp. I suppose my dreams are hinting about what to do but I am never able to interpret them.

I think I am supposed to do something with the energy but I don't know what. Apply it to something.

everyone is looking for a quick fix, but there really isn't one. Some things take time, and that is by design, because it is known that people don't like to wait. Just another aspect of the flaming sword keeping us out of eden...

if you were wanting to dip your foot in the pool so to speak I would say to you to try 'breathing without breathing'. I.e. hold your breath and attempt to breath anyway. If you can learn to push through it over a longer period you will have a chance to learn all you could ever want to learn about getting through blockages.

There are lots of practices that help with moving energy/chi/prana/etc. Some I like are qigong, tai chi, yoga, meditation, physical exercise, pranayama/breathing exercises, and others. It's also worth remembering that energy manifestations like feeling that energy is stuck can also result from other levels of experience (physical, mental, emotional, etc.), so it's good to deal with things on more than one level if they're not working well

Without knowing at what stage you are in any form of energy work, in my view, first step would be circulating the energy in the Microcosmic orbit.
