The minds eye being single.
This refers to a clear vision in union.
We do have to be aware of, in union with what.
As the scripture goes on to say this light maybe darkness.
Which would not be clear.
Look for the Love quality in your vision.Test all vision with Love.(Divine Love)
Love never fails.

I am not really sure about this third eye thingy – for it seeeeems that when the body is full of light, it is the light itself that “sees”

As if the “I” has vanished and in its place a (full-body-light-energy) eye starts to open.

Aren’t there some passages in the Bible about finding the (or your) light in the darkness?
When thy inner light starts to shine or something?
