Advice on these books
 

I've borrowed two books from my libary and I want to know if you've heard of them and if so what you think of them.

The books are:
- Earth Magic by Steven D.Farmer
- A practical guide to runes by Simon Lilly

The reason I borrowed these books was because I want to improve my knowledge and understanding on these two areas of the faith. The book earth magic also covers 'ancient shamanic wisdom' for healing yourself, others and the planet & I'm curious to think if you guys believe a book can teach you this?

I do not know the books you talk about, but if you understand the basic wisdom behind what the book talks about then yes the book can help you learn you it. Basically people can learn the art of the force by watching Star Wars if they get the basic wisdom behind the force. I learned Shadedragons "button technique" by her sharing it in a thread. You are the one who decides what is possible :wink:
