The life review? embarassing moments.

I wonder how embarrassing moments are handled in the life review.

I mean in this world, with the amount of internet porn, there is a lot of masturbation going on. Do you think this will be in life review?

Lol more likely

Haha! I don't know. Possibly. But then...you might also vividly recall one evening way back Tuesday or something 2004 when you were brushing your teeth. Why? It might seem so random to recall moments like that but it is possible they will be recalled.

All sorts of impressions may come from your experience on Earth. For the most part I truly feel they will be viewed with a sort of nostalgia, or at least a feeling of kindness towards that Earthly personality you 'took on board' for a while. They will be flashes of that most precious life, the desires, the achievements, the things you did and did not do....the loves, the annoyances, the impact you had upon others, the love you gave or were given and maybe even didn't notice sometimes, etc....
Or even if you did harm.
You may find your Eternal Spirit does not regard masturbation as 'harm'. But any underlying nastiness of desire or intent may be hurtful to experience.

I also feel your perspective will have altered so radically by that point, that you probably will not be fazed by a bit of self interest or enjoyment in genitalia. You probably won't be embarassed either. And you will see (like looking at a landscape from a helicopter) the main shapes and configurations of that life, its purpose and your achievements in it.

(This is where Ceiling Cat really gets his revenge! :D haha!)...joking....

If you feel compelled to review it, you will. The review is for your benefit and your benefit alone. It should be understood this review is not about other(s) passing judgement. It is about understanding - more to the point. Your understanding balanced against your ethos. If in your heart you believe masturbation is immoral and you actively participated in this. Then perhaps this will come up in your review. To bring this into perspective. If you do not believe drinking caffeine is immoral (a sin) then their does not really require some review to bring about understanding. The thing to note is - their are in fact people of faith who believe in their heart drinking caffeine is a sin. If they have a lifestyle drinking Pepsi everyday while believing it is immoral -- perhaps a review of this is required. Not for the purpose of judgement - but for understanding.

Ultimately, the way I see it is this review is to address issues that you were not able to resolve while living incarnate as well as provide additional insight and understanding with things you perhaps missed. As far as embarrassment - I imagine the majority of your emotional ego will be left behind and a natural sense of humility and understanding will be your state of consciousness when this review occurs if it even happens at all.

I have a hunch if a person experiences a "life review" upon death (or NDE), they will see the bigger picture of their life and not just the small details of one's life experiences...I would also imagine as one's consciousness transcends beyond the physical, we'll loose emotional feelings of "embarrassment/shame/guilt/etc."...so it's a possibility we may experience a jolly good laugh at our "life review" rather than feeling embarrassed or shameful... :D

I don't know, but it seems to me a life review would have to do with one's interplay with others. Even thoughts about others...hmmm...what would be the point? We all have negative and positive thoughts about others...it's our actions that it would seem would matter. Masturbation may be viewed as no different than grossly pigging out at meals regardless of how often for either or both. I think too many humans put way too much emphasis on sex/sexuality. Sex is a human trait, not a spiritual one. Just my two cents.

It has nothing to do with good or bad, right or wrong, rather it has to do with enlightenment. There are some things in my life which I look back on and cringe at how I acted or thought about those things which I did, and even today I am sure that I am seldom acting in an enlightened way. But why judge myself; why be embarrassed at what I do.

I may have unconsciously hurt others, I may have unconsciously hurt myself, but I have not done anything which could not be repaired. It is the nature of a scorpion to sting you, and right now the nature I have is less than enlightened. I have to go through what I have to go through to get to where I am going. If I had nothing to learn I would not be here on Earth.

Although enlightenment is not an act, it is not the way that I should be rather it is the way that I truly am; but until that time I fully embrace myself as I am at this very moment, with all of my hang-ups, lust, greed, and ego; I embrace myself an love that which I am, fully knowing and striving for that greater potential which at some point will be realized.

The older you get the more likely you will review your life and probably cringe, as I do, or be embarrassed by what has gone by, and what you may still be engaged in. Be gentle with yourself. Fulfill your cravings without guilt, that you may be able to let go of them. What we suppress will find its’ way to the surface in unanticipated expressions.

Oh the multitudinous revenges of 'Ceiling Cat'!!!

I'm a clairaudient medium who tends to have a few discarnates who like to hang around 24/7.

They are nice and friendly, so I let them stay...they've become 'part of the family'.

About a year ago, I was feeling really horny, so I decided to do a number on myself.

Fifteen minutes after that, I did a Spirit Box session..

Sorta got; "how many times did she come?" ..."I think it was four"..."nope, it was five"..."I think that last one was fake"..."It was four"..."scream louder next time, we didn't hear you"...

The spirits are all placing bets on how many times I reach orgasm...I may confuse them with a multiple next time...

Of course this annoyed me...for a while. Now I feel like a voyeur.

This took a bit of getting used to...but these are all the trials and tribulations of being a Spiritual Medium.

I'm surprised this thing hasn't been moved to the "spirituality and sexy-times" part of the forum ;P

I think ever one is doing about the same thing , so I dont think there should be any embarsement . A few years back I started a post that went more along the lines of being watched by ghosts while having sex .
