Random Word
 

A long time ago I read that there was a type of Divination that used a random book opened to a random page and point to a random word, but I can't remember what it was called. Does anyone know more about this and how it is used in Divination? Is the word suppose to answer a question or are you suppose to reflect on it?

I think this is a form of Bibliomancy. My maternal grandmother is a Christian and she uses this method with her Bible at times.

yeah, i'd heard of that with use of a bible... finding a randomly
selected passage rather than just a word.
