Just turned on radio as sleepless and caught an orchestral setting of the Shaker hymn "Simple Gifts" used in the ballet "Appalachian Spring" by Aaron Copeland. I think the tune is better known today as "The Lord of the dance". Enjoyed it. petex

I'd heard it before but not known the name. They seem to use it a lot in connection with space themes.
