You are right dream jo. Neither dogs nor cats like it much when we laugh "at them" when they have a mishap. They don't see the joke! They do give us a slightly disgusted "that's not even funny" look.

It's strange though, they don't mind us laughing if they are already joining in the fun somehow, and they already know what's funny about it. But it seems their humour has to be on their terms.
