Is Karma a form of currency?

If you've had a rough time are you more likely to be able to get what you really want, maybe?

How they say there is power in celibacy and refraining from things we really like, for example: junk food.

The level and depth of understanding is different to be sure. I've thought about karma and the person. Is it the soul that is put through karma if the soul is not the body?

I've wondered to, do individuals get bonus points earned in the experience as part of their contract if it is done out of generosity of the heart.

Jesus did that.

No. There are different layers of karma, adverse and beneficial.

Somewhat in terms of favours and responsibilities. If you save someone's life in one life they will likely come back to help you out in the next.

Your idea of being "good" is different from the next person. By giving up things you like all you are doing is slowing down your learning experience. My suggestion is to live your life. Experiment and experience everything.

What's been touted as 'karma' being a Universal Law isn't very useful, because it's not a Universal Law but a mentality. What I think you're tying to make sense of is Life's Purpose/Karmic Obligations, or at the very least looking for a way to turn around those rough times to serve you better. Learning the lessons is the best form of currency you can have, after all it's what we're here for apparently and there's a lot to learn from those rough times.
