Walking through a mirror
 

I became lucid when I realised I was in my bathroom at my house, I'm not sure why. I have a full length mirror in there so I decided to just check that it was a dream by trying to go through it. So I did and of course I just walked straight through. Then I could just see bright light all around but I noticed my vision was kind of pulsating. It was kind of like a fisheye lens on a camera and it kept going like that and then back to normal. I also felt a very strong sensation all over my body. It was very intense so I woke up but I'm curious what could have happened if I'd not woken up. I have read that mirrors can be used as portals in dreams.

The legendary "Magick Mirror" was a scrying device, many were black. The CIA uses a black obsidian disc. The between world portal effect is accomplished by tilting the mirror slightly so no reflection is seen other then the sky or blank ceiling.
