Solar Eclipse Feb 15th
 

Hi,

The solar eclipse coming up on Feb. 15th in the sign of Aquarius, is my birthday. I only understand the basics of eclipses, but was just reading about the significance of an eclipse landing on your birthday or close to it. Can someone shed some more information about this? I am still a bit confused.

I think there is some importance to the fact that an eclipse falls at the birthday.

astrologers make a often a chart on the birthday at the exact time the sun returns to the natal place at the birthday. This so called "solar return" is said to reflect events during the year.

The fact that eclipse at birthday might mean that the year is a bit more changeful than normal, as eclipses are significant event in astrology.

Myself had this 1987. It was an eclipse on my birthday. Also transiting jupiter right there on my sun simultaneusly.

I met my Guru and was initiated with kundalini awakening as a result that year.
It was in my 8th house - (Shakti).

More info might be gained by looking at your chart. Seeing where the eclipse is taking place...which house et.c.

New moon on steriods! This one effects the Aquaruis/ Leo axis and its effects are thought to last till mid summer. Astrology King.com has a useful article on this topic. Many other sites out there also. You have to love the internet when it comes to researching subject matter.
