Her love set sail
upon the sea of destiny
reliving past lives
seen by night time visions
tracing steps backwards
knowing she, the empath
was given this gift
second sight
all seeing
feeling emotions
often through a written word.

Wow thats a very powerful peice. I get that the woman is very lost, very powerful, she longs to get away from it, yet knows it is apart of her, without it she wouldnt be. To know that she carrys this gift from life to life would be a very hard thing to experience.

Just know, if this poem is written from experience, that you are never alone, there are those out there who have also been gifted, thats what it is, a gift. And whilst at times it seems like you are cursed, like you have some form of debt to pay, you were given it for a reason and you will do good with it.
