Lenomard deck

Greetings All,

This is a learning experience for me.
With Lenomarmand cards how do we read mutiple cards.
I got doubles down. How about 4's? Do we do 2 and 2?

Helpppppp Please.

I asked: Will I hear from my ex.

Women, Men, Bouquet, Snake, Ways, Coffin, Ring, Sun, Key, Ship, Anchor, Whip, Clover.

Women and Men = Good
Bouquet and Snake= An act of kindness designed to manipulate (sounds like something Men would do.
Ways and Coffin = Not to be free.
Ring and sun=Good relatiosnhip
Key and Ship= ??????
Anchor and Whip and Clover=??????

It's different for everyone with Lenormand.
Some use the 1st card as the adjective for the 2nd, other people do it the other way round and yet again other people do both depending on their intuition.
In that sense it's handy to do what Rana George recommends: Go through the deck and make your own journal of combinations.
Starting with The Rider and all other cards in combi. Then go to the 2nd card and do all combis.
3 cards I guess is a matter of experience and intuition. Again also your own method: do you feel it's a story from left to right or do you feel it evolved around the centre card?
This is different for everyone, which is why especially with Lenormand so many people come up with so many different things, making it almost impossible to ask other's opinion on a reading.
Somehow I always feel this is less of an issue with Tarot.

So I guess it mostly comes down to working out what for you is the main card.
Like with ANCHOR WHIP CLOVER
Which to you is the main card? The last one meaning the other 2 are adjectives? The first one? THe centre one?
OR is it more like a story from left to right?
In a way you could read these 3 cards as a repetitive and likely painful cycle of commitments/bondages that are short-lived.
But again, it depends on which card you put emphasis.

Oh, and as always: Don't ask YES/NO questions.

And this: An act of kindness designed to manipulate (sounds like something Men would do.
Quite the negative blanket statement, judging all men. Women do such things as well. And many men and women never do. Thinking so negatively and reading through ego-coloured filters doesn't help a reading...

FairyCrystal, Thank you for your input.
Very detailed. TY.

Ahhh, I see, so for me its always been a story from left to right.
I wasnt judging ALL men, the Lenomard I PULLED a man, and that is something, my ex who is a man would do. His a big time manipulator... The Men card = My Ex.
I understand now that I myself read it again, it sounds foggy. I was trying to explain that women, men, bouquet and snake... the meaning, sure sounds like my ex.
I hope you are not cross with me xx

Haha, no, I'm not cross with you at all :) I get it now, it's that you put it in plural (men instead of Man), but I get it. Thanks for elaborating.
Hope my input can be helpful to you even though it's not helping directly with your reading.

Maybe if you rephrase it'll be clearer, for instance "What can I expect from my ex?"

Fairycrystal! Good, I am glad :)

Oh! that is a good question to ask- "What can I except from my ex"
Ill let you know how it goes.
___________
So, I drew the bear, ways and ship.
I drew three to be as a story. Starting with L to R.
