I've been away from the site for so long. It is thriving and growing, as beautiful as it always has been.

There's so much happening in my life. I feel completely out of touch with you, but sometimes when I look into Antoine's eyes, I feel like you are there. Are you? There was one day Antoine was looking at me this curious, penetrating way for a long time, and I felt your spirit so close.

Your mom wrote to me today and said she was setting up a special display in her church this Sunday. I asked her to take a picture for me.

I remember standing on the low hill in Watership Down, right by the two trees bending toward one another. Your mom said, "Run with the rabbits my son" as she spread your ashes.

It doesn't seem possible that it has been 6 years, yet I know it has been. Sometimes it feels like a million years.

My heart feels heavy and destroyed for so many reasons, but it isn't destroyed enough not to be able say I love you and miss you, to hope you are doing ok.....

I hope I can make it to England next year to visit your mom, sister, and niece.

There is a scene in a film called "Interstellar" that made me think of you--such a beautiful and powerful scene. I imagine you are somewhere like this, where you can see into the universe and understand that love is more real than anything.....
