Purple orb after pendulum
 

Hello,

Long story short, over a year ago I used a pendulum for the first time. After asking a few questions and putting it away, I watched TV for a couple of hours, and I had a feeling of not being alone. I went to bed but didnt sleep at first, and opened my eyes to see a purple orb in front of me. It disappeared after a couple of seconds, and wasnt circular.

It felt as if I was meant to see it maybe? Like it was in response to my questions. Just wondering on theories on what a specifically purple orb means?

My gut says it was a spirit guide.

Were you seeing this "orb" in a dark room? How would you describe the material of this orb? Was it light? Was it metallic? Was it a color? Was it relatively clear and crisp or soft and blurry?

Depending on the shape of the pendulum or the way the light reflected on it this could have been an afterimage sort of remnant from staring at the pendulum. If not the pendulum there could have been something in the environment coinciding with the orb shape that you might not consciously associate with the form especially when it is observed under entirely different environmental conditions (i.e. lighting). You can hold the form in your mind for hours although this was not the immediate afterimage that is something like the image inversion effect in Photoshop.

I would not accept a spiritual explanation without looking for an explanation in nature. People can believe a splatter of urine in a public restroom is a manifestation of Jesus. If there is no natural explanation perhaps it is supernatural.
