Different intensity...?
 

Hi....


years ago I met someone who just took my breath away - in positive and negative ways. I'm done with it now and I hoped to get to know someone I can love in a normal, everyday way, if you know what I mean.
But instead there are these feelings towards a man which are much milder.

Nicer somehow, not as crazy as with the other years ago.

I feel a connection that I don't feel towards others. I know that there is something between us that I can't put a finger on.



And I wonder what this s about. I thought if you meet your tf it is this very intense kind of thing. Something you can't miss or oversee.




I'd like to know what others think abot this, please.

i think that the labels don't matter. if it feels nice, don't think twice.
i encourage you to explore that relationship that you can't quite find
a name for... maybe you'll discover something that's wonderful.

I dont think love can be done in a normal, everyday way. Love is a strong emotion that is overwhelming. If you are looking for something normal then you should take a slight interest, not too obsessive, and enjoy what you like.

This part is very important.

You are right, but the problem is that I can't explore anything about this man because I have to keep things between us strictly on a business level.

Althougt he was very nice towards me from first day on...

Well... but there is a difference between getting to know someone and falling in love sometome or meeting someone for the first time and *click* it all falls into place and you feel that you just somenow belong with that person WITHOUT even knowing his/her name. Or anything else.

I came to the realisation that he has to feel something because of the way he behaves towards me.
But I don't know and I sure am not going to ask.


I want to know about the experiences of others just to find out what it is I feel and why.

you know, but then you doubt. would some words serve to convince you
of what you already know? ... and couldn't those words change later on?

my experiences involve many mutual misunderstandings.
