Did you know that Mars is a fire sign and that Cancer is a planet?

ummm?? no?

I know that Mars is a fire sign but nothing about Cancer being a planet. The Cancer planet piqued my curiousity so now I have some questions. How did it come to be that a constellation (Cancer) is now a planet with the same name? And what should the Cancer constellation be called now? Or is it the same name for both a planet and a constellation?

I hope someone can answer these questions.
