Soulmate signs mislead me
 

There was a boy who I noticed coming in the same bus several times in 2013 and 2014.That gaze in his eyes had something deep, I don't know how to explain.We always had eye contact.
Gradually I started developing an interest towards him.
I prayed asking for signs about my soulmate –to confirm whether he is the one. I prayed by fasting, without eating meat for weeks.
I bumped into him at a class. We became friends. It was a dream come true. I was really happy those days.

I remember during this time I kept seeing the sign infinity and number 8 many times a day. It drove me crazy. Every where infinity. When infinity isn't around I would see number 8.
There were so many other coincidences . But
Since I didn’t see any big interest of him towards me I started to doubt, about the signs I got. even though they were OVERWHELMING signs of confirmation they eventually lead to nothing. I felt like I was mislead by the universe. My hopes about him started to fade away.
However in April 2017 I was planning on getting into a relationship with a guy I met online. As me and the online guy were fixing a date to meet , I had a dream about the synchronicity guy . The strangest but the most beautiful dream of all. I receive a postcard from him where he had written = during the time I loved him, he secretly loved me too. He had also mentioned that he is unable to come to me now but he will love me in future. At the end he had called me a white butterfly. “You are a female butterfly to me , so white”. The online man rejected me right after the date. I got over him after sometime.
Since after having that dream , not a single day passes without me thinking about him. He has a girlfriend now. But my question is did he ever have feelings for me and couldn’t express them to me?

I don't put too much stock into signs unless they are very specific. I'm not sure the connection with 8 and infinity in regards to your noted soulmate. Maybe you weren't mistaken by signs but rather coincidence. If they were signs the 8 may have signaled a day or month that was critical for you to establish a relationship with him. They 8 may also signaled being on the right direction whereas seeing the infinity may have been a key that things were heading the wrong direction. You mentioned seeing these signs many time a day, and in the beginning for a potential relationship every action can have positive or negative implications which may explain why the signs alternated frequently.

While I don't know what will work out for you regarding synchronicity guy, your dream was very interesting. I do believe our souls step out and visit each other in the astral plane. There was story in a book I read where a woman dreamed a man with 3 babies who was astronomer said he couldn't be with her yet. She wrote it in a dream journal to rediscover the entry years later - when she was married to an astronomer with 3 kids. And it's possible this guy was shy. Anyway, I do believe anything is possible. But, just keep living and doing your thing, and the Universe will do the rest along the way.
