What an intriguing photo, how did you get it? Was there anything in particular you were photographing?

Crystal Ambassador I was in the woods in NH and saw a light go before me. So I then saw her a couple of yards away from me. She was fluttering by the tree and she turned her head as I was photographing her. She was about the size of my palm. Pretty neat experience!! :)

You were lucky to capture such a beautiful creature on camera!

I'm new here and I've been looking at you other pictures as well. I was wondering if you capture these things by chance or if you actually see them first and then decide to capture the pictures. My neighbor used to quickly snatch my camera from me to take pictures of things, but I could never see what he was taking a picture of. When did these things start appearing for you and how did you discover them?

Ive love to get a fairy picture. Someone once took me to a fairy meeting place and I could feel them around me but I didnt think to take my camera and try to get a photo. (I was told they are shy).
