Fair enough. But what I said about Lilith isn't my "belief"; it's the truth about how she was perceived by most ancient cultures. But more power to you, I guess. Lol.

Essentially in Gnostic and Judaic texts, Lilith is Adam's first wife, and She is His equal but both Adam and God don't like that so she's out and the more submissive Eve is in. So, Lilith goes off with Samæl.

Well, I am not very familiar with 'Gnostic' interpretations of Lilith/Lilitu/Lamashtu. But I am not aware of plenty of ancient sources that portray her as anything other than a monstrous demon. So far, all sources I've seen that paint her in a quasi-positive light tend to be completely non-Sumerian & Akkadian in nature. If you have a book or website to show me I'd appreciate it.

I've heard that as well. But it seems to be a purely modern invention based on the premise that Lilith must have been a nice, wonderful goddess or otherworldly being before the mean old men made her into a demon of the night. :D
