It was the milks that got me.

I have gone back to a vegan diet after a few years in the wilderness.

A few things nudged me back:

1. I met a girl on a dating site, who is veggie.
2. A voice inside me shaking its head, every-time that i ate meat.
3. All the gorgeous nut milks.

I love nut milk, and there seemed to be more and more available.

Back in 2005 when I first transitioned, I think there was only soya and rice milk. I like soya milk, apart from the coffee issue. But you can now get so much more all available at the supermarket.

cool this I use milk in tea have some doubts about it

although i do not feel notice any effects i could relate to it

I also doubt i could buy any of these product

other than perhaps soymilk but would that do in tea ?

or is the taste very different ? or maybe it would be fine

in tea what ever taste it has :-)

Soya milk has a tendency to curdle in tea, though it doesn't make any difference to the taste.
Almond milk is becoming more and more popular. Most supermarkets stock it.
Coconut milk is another popular plant milk and widely available. That has a rich, creamy taste. {Probably the most tasty vegan milk, though quite high fat}

Yes, there are a lot of nut milks available now. :) I've been trying all kinds and also the hemp seep milk. I bought a book on how to make my own nut milks and nut butters, I'm sure it will be very good.

I make my own soymilk since a few years. I use a soy milk machine for that.
Home made soymilk is way different from what you buy in the store. Much stronger and creamier.

After the machine is done I throw the pulp back into the milk. That way I don't lose any valuable nutritions and it makes the milk thicker. I like thick milk.

I do the same with almonds and hazelnut. Poor them in the container of the machine, add water and let the machine do it's work.

Making your own soy or nutmilk is usually cheaper then buying it in the store.
My own soymilk cost me about 30 eurocent per liter. That includes about 15 cent for the vanilla essence.
If I buy it in the supermarket it will cost me 89 eurocent. In the organic store it's at least 1,50 euro.

I am very happy with this machine.
Saves a lot of shopping too. I only buy a few pounds of beans and nuts every few months or so. No more hassle with cartons of milk every week.

Ben and Jerrys have invested in a vegan future. It was in the news last week.
