Hello,
For any astronony enthusiasts across America - here's the path for the total solar eclipse: Here's more information for the Solar Eclipse! Lepus |
Oooh so close to me, it should be a good one! Thanks for posting!

Thank you for posting that.

Cool! thanks for reminding me, Lepus! This is going to be an amazing and phenomenal experice.
In the US, most local libraries will be giving out free solar eclipse glasses ( dangerous to see with bare eyes). Here is another goodsight for general information looks like il be close to the .09 mag, so closer to 3PM for me |
I was excited to hear about this during the last eclipse, but would it be worth a several hour drive to see?
|
Check out this video all. I like how she says when it darks out we will be able to see the stars like night ( possibly depending where your located). I am really excited!

In my nearly 60 years on this EarthWalk I have to say this will not be my first Solar eclipse.
It IS exciting tho I must admit. I think back centuries when two-leggeds would experience an eclipse and how frightening that could have been. The Energy IS Powerful and somewhere in our brain is that tiny nudge of fear AND Awe and it definitely lingers!! PLZ note: this is the first Total Solar eclipse visible in areas in the USA coast to coast since 1918. And I have lived in Many areas in 6 decades. I was young when I "saw" or rather experienced my first near Totality!! I'll never forget it!! |
I am really sorry I won't be able to see this! I am in UK! We had a good one in 1999 and nothing since.

This one is going around in parent threads. Made me laugh.
