Spiritual Pride.
 

Verdict: I think I am guilty of spiritual pride.

What can I do about it? Do you think a relationship with Jesus would help?

I have found a flower remedy which helps heal spiritual pride - I am going to try it.

I try to be humble. But somehow I cannot achieve it.

I don't think pride has got anything to do with spirituality has it.

Pride creates delusions and is closely linked to vanity. We risk the chance of elevating ourselves and may seek adoration of others.

In the Christian faith you are kinda already small compared to God, so that is another place to start from.

Altair, those types of videos make me feel like my head's going to explode. They don't make me feel humble and small though.

Reminded me of a class room scene in the film Wild. Said about this poster "I see that poster everywhere and I ****ing hate it, why would you ever want to teach a child that they don't matter"

Pride and spirituality are intrinsically linked in my opinion.

Having a relationship with myself might help. It depends upon the type of relationship I feel.

What do you mean by "spiritual pride"?

Who told you that pride is bad? Your enemy?
Who told you to be humble? Your adversary?
A slave has humility and is humble around his master. So are you a slave or free?

that sounds like a recipe for a happy ending. better than his idea of smoking marijuana (surely the flowers he was referring to?)

I think it's the most important relationship.

It's a tea I think. Helps with all sorts. I've not tried it though.
