Is this REALLY Apophyllite and Stilbite?
 

Hi, I bought this crystal a good while ago, back in late August and I was told that this cluster was a piece of Apophyllite and Stilbite. I still have my suspicions about it because I have a smaller cluster of Optical Calcite on a Tourmaline base and these two look fairly similar. Take a look for yourselves

Does your Apophyllite crystal points have four sides? If it does, it is the real deal.

Sorry for the late response but I've done what you said and checked the crystal cluster for the 'four sides' and yes the crystal clusters [i]do[i] have four sides, so it must be Apophyllite. Thanks for the information BigJohn, it's put my curiosity to rest!

Glad everything worked out okay.

Apophyllites crystals faces is more or less pyramid with flat rectangular tip.

Yup, should look like four diamonds coming together. Apophyllite was my latest acquisition.
