young men and woman who can not drive without gps telling them where to go, adultsthat are so dependent on there phone to function they can not do something as simple as drive down the street without a computer telling them how. what is happening

I'm directionally challenged, and I do need my GPS. If I know where I'm going, I don't need my GPS. But I have to drive somewhere over and over and over again to remember the way. I've always had direction problems. They are real. 😐

Yes! Almost everyone. Even with a GPS I get lost. You know how many times I'll be driving and loose signal? I always have a regular map ready. Self driving cars really throw me for a loop. I mean who doesn't want to feel the road and control there own movements. I couldn't put that much trust into some computer. With everything being run by computers I really think we're getting dumber. We don't have to think for ourselves anymore.

I totally agree with you about self driving cars. About not thinking. It amazes me how many people don't know how to count change back. The cash register goes down and they're stuck.
