"Medical Medium" by Anthony William

Has anyone posted about this book? (Forgive me if they have.) He gets medical information via a spirit talking to him. I tried just one of the things mentioned in the book for shingles and it took the pain away. I couldn't believe it!

If anyone's interested, you might want to check out the book. It covers many illnesses, some are: Epstein-Barr, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, diabetes, diabetic neuropathy, hypoglycemia, adrenal fatigue, candida, migraines, colitis, tmj, attention deficit, autism, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, premenstrual syndrome, menopause, and lyme disease.

The full title of the book is: "Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal."

I have not read it but I would advice anyone with a medical issue to see your doctor first

Native Spirit, thanks for saying to see a doctor first. You're right!

Guess since I've had a few "mystery illnesses," and am going through one right now, I forgot to mention seeing a doctor first.

Interesting. What is his recommendation for post traumatic stress?

Sorry, I don't have the book with me (I use public computers). I'll try to look it up soon. (So far, I've only read large sections of the book.) And maybe someone else with the book would like to help?

In the meantime, perhaps his website or youtube videos might tell about PTSD? It'll be interesting to find out.

Haven't read the book. Very interesting topic. I may check it out sometime.

Posting to follow this convo :)

Only had time to skim the first few pages of the PTSD chapter. He focuses more on "hidden PTSD" -- the situations that people don't usually think of as genuine PTSD -- like going through something during the day but it has an impact where your thoughts and behaviors change because of it.

Hmmm, kind of wish he also tackled the big PTSD stuff, but I haven't read the whole chapter yet. Maybe the big stuff's in there.

I hope you like it! It's hard to stop reading the book. Sure is outside-the-box type of stuff. Has lots of information about healing properties of many foods/herbs/supplements -- definately handy to keep on file.

Thanks for coming back on that. If you do get to see what he recommends for the 'big stuff' which is what I'm dealing with it'd be much appreciated.

I agree with Native spirit. It would be different to contact someone who claimed they received help from Spirit over the phone or from instructions in a book, if the doctors were stumped, and couldn't reach a diagnosis. And if regular drug therapies are either -not working or not suiting or creating awful side effects -then there are so many alternative treatments for many things, from qualified practitioners, Naturopathic doctors, etc.

But my feeling is always look at all sides of a claim such as that which Anthony William makes. Use your Heart and intuition, and research fully. That doesn't mean being "negative" and it doesn't mean being uncritically "positive" either, but rather, looking at the whole picture.

I came upon this rather sad story by the mother of a little boy with a genetic defect:

However, some have reported wonderful results. To be fair.

Any "medium" who is not a medical doctor, should not be making any medical diagnoses, or recommending people take anything. To do so would be extremely dangerous to a person's health. Even if some "spirit" gave them advice to do so. Doing so, IMO, is akin to medical malpractice.

Desperation will lead to trying ANYTHING. Especially if they have no answers. I have been in those shoes many times in the past. I knew someone, years ago, who had issues that they couldn't find answers to. Then a medical medium told them, they too had too much metal in them. Seems to be a trend for medical mediums. I of course laughed at such a notion. Not that that is not a problem people could have. Just that it seems so convenient to say to them. I fell out of contact with them don't know if they did anything the medium told them to do, and if it went away.
