That Doorway
Through the secret door
there will be no more ending no more waiting Around I wont try to put you back into my world view When i get there See your faults against my fancy judgemental windows That cost me the earth to install Through the door there is a beginning in sight Something you always knew A knowing that goes from day to day sometimes unrecognised For just in life As it is with death We can take the steps as they are moving away along by coastal towns shelves and headlands revisiting a childhood or family destination ? |

Hello Joe. I enjoyed your poem Joe, lots packed in there I believe, and flowing into my imagination from yours, but not forced.
The lines "I won't try to put you back into my world view When I get there See your faults against my fancy judgemental windows That cost me the earth to install"--- Observation/thought nicely shared Imo. And this Earth: Robust yet fragile, as industrial civilisation begins to find, at last.--as we push up against the perimeter fence demanding more. petex |

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed those few words. Yes those few words emerged in a minute or so (as probably shows lol) and if i may say so myself that idea about the price we pay here on earth has always been in question....the world views, the material possessions (judgemental windows) and of course in today's age as we experience a global economy, the question of sustainability is always on the agenda. Sorry i think my comment is longer than the poem itself lolol. All the best and im very flattered that you cared to comment thank you  |
