Goody Two Shoes
Lord help me
I am being crucified By the goody two shoes They have planks In their eyes And want to have me Crucified! Please show them the true path Take the logs out of their eyes Help them to see The errors of their ways And that speck in my eye Well as you know God Lord It will fall out On its own Accord.... I love You, God. They have bigger issues. Please help them. |
What does a goody two shoes in relation to your poem mean?
Who are they? |
They are the ones who have no faults in their personal view but like to point out yours.
The thing is, we all have a" thing" or another we need to work on. I don't go around making someones personal pains a social issue. You know what I'm getting at? Anyway, life is just a dream... All that truly matters to me, is my conversations with God. |

Oh I see. Well what "I" see outwardly always reminds me to understand it as my self first before I jump to conclusions of others being what they are being. Then it becomes a non issue. I guess goody two shoes is yours today and I wanted to understand your concept deeper as yourself. Is it a personal pain? WHo knows? Its not mine, I don't dwell on what others are being. I don't tell them how to be that, where and when. Clean it up= clean myself up. |
There... you had your say.
I thank you. |

I thank myself every day. I thank you too.. |
You need to thank God too...
Three in the tree of life... Who owns the light? Who Licks it up? As the tree grows in the spirit of life. Granted from above. |

There is
No direction and All. Up is In and all around. (Up is.) ;) |
And I am a goody two shoes, by the way. This does not mean I don't look at myself. It just means I spend no more no less time on me as I do others. What ever comes on my path I try and shine light on, be that what seemingly is someone else darkness or mine. It is all the same anyway, can't have one without the other, not light them separately.
So, 'Go!, Goody TwoShoes', says I. At least we're looking out for others than only ourselves, however misdirected at times, at least others can know someone tries to help, connect, assist. And when I get someone 'in my face', with advice I did not ask for, and guidance that really isn't relevant, I try and remind myself that I might not be the main character in this scene; I might be an extra in someone else's learning. Then it is not half as annoying to endure |
