If reality is not real then what is?

People have been misunderstanding this for quite a while now. This reality is in fact real it is the person's understanding of this reality that is the illusion I hope that makes sense.

As far as I know, this reality is as real as the reality I observe during my dream.

Yes of course it is a true & real reality. Everthing we touch, smell, see, hear etc is real. It exist even if know one were here to experience it all.

Take for instance a person experiencing an out of body experience, when they are standing near their earthly physical body, they still see their body, because it exists & so does the item that their body is reclining or laying upon exists.
& other people who are still within their earthly physical bodies within the same building, yes they exist as well.

Also the building exists, that the experiencer is located within at that moment. The whole darned galaxy exists, & all of the other galaxies exist, they all exist within the spiritual universe.

& the spiritual universe exists as well...SMILES.

Dreams seem real at the time of dreaming (unless you know you're dreaming). However dreams are not as consistent as reality.

Imagine if dreams every night followed the same pattern as reality. Same place, same people, linear time. That would throw a big spanner in the reality conundrum.

Moving onto the question, if reality is not real, then what is?

Possibly nothing. Does that make any difference though? I suppose it would for some people, not for others. 100 years from now, we (meaning us who are alive now) may have more of clue, or less of a clue, or not even exist to have a clue at all.

Does what's real or not even matter?

I guess reality should be defined a little more. I consider the awakened state to be fundamental reality meaning if you died this reality is still here doing its thing only difference is your awareness has left your body so this reality continuous With or Without You which is separate and different from the dream state which is more like your own personal reality that is subject to you.

;) How do you know that (my highlights)? When you dream you believe that to be your reality. Maybe when you'll die you'll think that the afterlife is the reality ...?

Yes your "awareness/mind/the self" has left the body, & this drifting away action happens without conscious thought, you the aware conscious being naturally drifts out & slightly away from the physical body, however you are still here within the physical organic reality.

You did not, or have not, gone anywhere, you are still very near by your physical body. You did not enter another dimention or another reality. You can still move about within this reality & with a little thought you can interact with it.

There is only one reality, & that one reality, "is" the spiritual universe, & the organic physical system resides within the spiritual universe, along side the spiritual Heavens, however, although they reside along side of each other, they are a long distance apart from each other.

& both are constructed of the same spiritual matter, though, constructed differently of that spiritual matter.
