Question about spirit guide
 

I was told that my spirit guide is the archangel Raphael. Has anyone ever heard of an Archangel as a spirit guide?

i certainly believe it's a possibility.
i hold no faith in "rules" which might preclude that.
Archangel Raphael is known as "The Angel of Healing and Divine Love",
so that might indicate your 'major interest', as if you were a student.

Archangels are usually in charge of larger groups of people, while Angels are spirit guides of individual humans. That said, it may happen that from time to time we establish a stronger connection with an Archangel.

I just need a little help with silly things...I can't imagine an
Archangel would be needed!
Seems a waste of power and his attention...on me, anyway.

I'd have my reservations... I'm not saying it's not possible, but unlikely.

If someone said something like this to me, I'd be immediately wary of them.

It's becoming a very popular thing in spirituality/new age circles to have Archangel guides, or to channel this or that Archangel. Do you need to believe your guide is an Archangel, in order to be guided? No, and that's the bottom-line. Just as you don't need to understand the workings of the sun in order to be warmed by it.

If I may intercede.

I have had experiences in my life where I should have died.

Several times over... as the sun continues to shine.

I will spare you all the circumstances, but I have deep faith in my guardians?

Personally, I think something is there, from personal experience.

You can't leverage that away from me as it happened a few times too many.

For me..

Can't give a name to my guardians, but hey, one day it ends for us all.

You've been told this and you have your doubts, I would say see for yourself!
Try to connect to your spirit guides and see, if only intuitively, if this person was right.
Even if it's not archangel Raphael, you won't be disapointed ;)

I know of one other who has an archangel as his spirit guide, and on a couple of occasions they've helped me in my spiritual endeavors. Definitely I'd say they're possible spirit guides.
