I want to go to school for spa therapy healing and I feel my path is with healing and metaphysical route. Though How do you know which school is right for you? How many months or years it takes to be a spa therapist?

Talk with admissions advisers/counselors for whatever schools you are interested in and try to talk to students who have gone there and are now graduated.

It depends on what you are interested in doing. There are Energy Healers, Massage Therapists, Reiki practioners, and other practices. Do some research on where you feel drawn too. Spa work can also include hot stone work.

Here in the states Massage Therapy training takes about nine months and depending upon the state my need to take a test to be certified or have a license. Also depends upon what country you live in.

As far as I know one can practice energy healing work without a license.

Talk to people who are in the field and get some work done on yourself to get a feel for it. If interested find a Spa you can possibly work in. Even it is cleaning up or working the desk. This can help gain contacts.

Ask questions and find out the cost and time that may be required so you can prepare yourself.
