jb, the article I linked to they state how the limestone could have been easily cut by flint or other materials around by these prehistoric peoples.


As for lifting them into place, ropes would and leverage. Remmber Archimedes statement,...' give me a leverage long enough and I can move the Earth'...


Yes Archimedes didnt come along til 1000's of years later, but the principle of leverage holds true eternally an is not based on any one humans statements overtime.


I also watched the Vanoyich manscript. Again, nothern Italy and and specific carbon dated time period are where the answers can be found. May very well be a con man like Kelly in England. That would make lot of since.

What is also clear that humans from 100 to 13,000 years ago had creative brain processing abilities.

This is a great documentary that gives an impression about the start of civilization in the fertile crescent in the early Holocene. I think they deal with Gobekli Tepe too. It provides great insights into the why and how of early civilization.

Thanks Altair, I watched 1st episode.

One idea is that long ago there was a high tek society on earth but some thing happened ,war ,or a natural disaster . It got forgotten .

Perhaps. I'm doubtful.

Me too, R6. I don't see anything extraordinary or out of the picture in human history that can't be explained. If there's all this high tech from long ago then why hasn't it been found? We can find fossils of tiny animals hundreds of millions of years ago but not a single piece of this technology. That's remarkable.
