The diference between Higher self and spirit guides
 

Please tell me what exactly is the difference between higher self and spirit guide. How they are related to our purpose in life? Many blessings.

Your higher self is you. Your Supraconscious, you could say. I think Erin Pavlina explains it well in her blog:

Spirit guides are spirit beings that you made a pact with before being born to watch over you and guide you during your life to help you achieve the goals or lessons you original planned for yourself before reincarnation. They could be your closest friends from previous past lives or such. There is a topic on here that goes more into spirit guides, door keepers and angels. But I am not too sure exactly where it is. I stumbled upon it by reading old topics on this forum.
