Is it possible to communicate with someone on the Other Side, even if this person /spirit didn't believe in this type of communication being possible in the first place ?

In fact, it's often those sceptics who try the hardest to communicate, because they're so surprised to find themselves still alive and kicking, they want everyone to know about it!

I think they would because once they get on the otherside they will now believe or even remember when they were on the otherside before they had their earthly life. Interesting Sandy but that makes sense.

Imagine yourself as a total sceptic, you insist that the Afterlife doesn't exist then you shuffle off your mortal coil and whammo! you're there. Surely that would change your perspective just a tiny bit?

Oh dear here we go again....:icon_frown:

Of course the simple answer is 'Yes' but certain contributors then go further in suggesting that once you've passed over you'll suddenly - almost miraculously - become a 'believer' when previously you weren't....

Of course that may happen but it doesn't automatically happen, it's not an inevitable consequence of passing over....

Read guidance offered in the past and it's been taught that strongly held views may be carried over in the psyche of the new discarnate - put simply they don't change their views just 'cos they're dead!

It's also taught that individuals who have held such strong convictions will naturally 'gravitate' towards those of a similar outlook - like attracts like. Hence if they held firm convictions that there's no such thing as communication after death, and all that stuff, then they may continue that way.....at least for a time.

And as we know and understand, time 'over there' isn't felt like time 'over here'.:wink:

From what I understand, for non-believers, it may take a very long time before they actually realise that there is something after death. They will hang on to the old familiar things, they had no belief of the afterlife whilst here and continue to do once they have passed on. In between worlds come to mind.
