Stupid thoughts.
 

I have nightmarish thoughts about when I die.

Like I am going to float high up and feel sick from the altitude.

Another one is I will imagine myself in the middle of the sun. I know you can just move at the power of the thought so this one scares me. I know it is dumb, it is like my mind is rebelling on itself.

Assuming you haven't reasoned with yourself already, these are very physical-based fears. What do you imagine would happen to your spirit if these events occurred?

Well Burntfruit. With all due respect, you do seem to be lodged in a somewhat negative valley of thought, into which, a cluster of unearthly, disparaging thoughts and theories have drained...

Might you not balance that out, with a range of positive ideologies or situations, that would be more acceptable or even delightful... I can think of a thousand positive outcomes with little trouble, that would present a wonderful conclusion to a lifes' journey...

Mind you, I do have an open mind, for all sorts of ideas to pop in and share their theories with me as they're passing by...

Why not start looking on the bright side - at least - once in a while...

I know the spirit is invincible but I do wonder if I will get lost. Maybe I will drift off into space, and be in darkness. :icon_frown:

Of if i teleport to the centre of the sun, I will be so dazzled I will get stuck there. :redface:

I will try my best to be more positive. I think my negativity is the result of earth based fears.

I've had intrusive thoughts and I know how stressful they can be, even if you feel like you're being silly. I don't know if this will reassure you but it might help to know that space only appears dark because in physical form we are limited to viewing a certain portion of the light spectrum. If we could see all the radiation and frequencies passing through space, the whole universe would be as bright as the sun. So it'd be quite difficult to get dazzled by one object in a luminous field of colour.

Yes I appreciate it is a bit silly, and I also appreciate your sincerity because it is quite distressing.

I think I understand that in spirit form there is probably a calmness and stillness which prevents these types of thoughts.
