Palmistry Marriage/Affection lines, accurate?

If this is in the wrong place, my apologizes. I'm a bit nervous & bothered. How accurate are marriage/affection/relationship lines on the side of the mount of mercury? Or if they're even accurate at all. I got told something by a palmist that didn't sound accurate & I'm wondering if I'm being biased (it was something negative) or if it's acutally inaccurate. I know these lines are one of the hardest to read in palmistry & sometimes are inaccurate. There are people out there who have numerous relationship lines (which would indicate numerous spouses) but have only been married once in their entire life. I know some palmist do not like to read them since they're so tricky & inaccurate to them. What do you guys think? Should I be worried about what the palmist said? Thanks for any replies

To my understanding there are no marriage lines on the side of the mount of mercury. There can be CHILDREN lines on the actual side of the hands (which only represent being close to children - eg the childless kindergarten teacher will have stacks), but anything actually on the mount of mercury doesn't represent relationship stuff at all.

Other people may have different systems of relationship though. If I was going to date stuff, I'd be looking at the life line (which gives a chronological time period too).

Yes there are lines at the side mount of mercury that are considered marriage lines. I cannot be sure if they are accurate either, because someone who got married twice has only one marriage line.

There are, they're called affection/relationship lines. Though, I'm really starting to doubt the accuracy. I was told that I'd be widowed. I don't know how you predict that off a palm. It kinda crushed me as stupid as it sounds.

That's relieving! In my previous post I mentioned how the palmist told me I would be widowed & that really crushed me. I feel like some things on your palm can be true, such as traits but it's also a very complicated thing to learn/read so these "palmist" should be careful with their wording when they tell someone so touchy IMO lol

Absolutely, I think it takes a lot of expertise to read someone's hand. I wouldn't blindly trust the lines you know, they change too as your life progresses.
There is a story of a famous scholar, he wasn't a very bright student. So one day his teacher wanted to scale him, when he held his hand, he saw there was no education line and told him there was no use in punishing him because he didn't have a education line anyways.
So the young boy went home and carved an education line with a knife, and he is one of the greatest scholars in Sanskrit literature. I think it was either Kalidas or Tulsidas, I cannot be too sure right now. Either of them.
So lines in our palms change. Traditionally they are called marriage lines but like someone said they could also talk about children.

Interesting, thanks for telling me the story! Palms are such a complex thing. It takes someone with years of knowledge to explain your palm correctly to you. Many people just rely on the internet which, without a doubt for the most part is horrible source for knowledge on such a topic. Anyways, thank you for your replies!

Eh... I also don't know how you predict a partner's death on your palm. End of relationship? Yes. But not death specifically. There are a lot of dodgy readers out there, palmistry and otherwise!

Which is why I'm wondering if the affection/relationship line thing is legit, because the main relationship lines I look for actually run closer to the Life line :)

Of course, your palmist may be using a different system.
