Jack Kornfield

I was right into this guy at one stage. He studied Theravada Buddhism in Thailand in the sixtees/seventees with a famous mentor. Ajahn Chah?

Nice guy and I still kind of respect him. He is doing a lot for peace in the world I admit.

Yea Ram Das, he wrote the 60's hippy classic book "Be here now."

What’s holding you back? Your thoughts, huh? You’ve got to give them up.

Ram Dass

These sound like simple cliche's now. But when I was a kid and saw them for the first time, they were mind blowing.

“True emptiness is not empty, but contains all things. The mysterious and pregnant void creates and reflects all possibilities. From it arises our individuality, which can be discovered and developed, although never possessed or fixed.”

Very Taoist.

Wuji is the void/emptiness from which all movement arises. It relates to infinite possibilities before the creation of yin/yang which can never be fixed.. The pregnant void gives birth to yin/yang and is the mother of all things. Emptiness is fullness, full of potential....
