Natural, legal herbal teas, etc for shaman journey?

Hi all,

I want to take something that is legal in Australia to enhance my shamanic journeys. What would you recommend? Not interested in smoking anything so tea would be the best thing i would think.

Thanks!

Deep breathing and a good drum LoL :laughing1:

Seriously though, if you feel you need to enhance a vision, then it is a good sign to practice mastering your visual senses in the visual realms.

i agree with above, but i like tea! its really relaxing and warm in your belly =)
however, if you are having mood problems i heard of this natural herb that regulates mood that ive done a lot of research on called St Johns Wort. remember that if you don't need it why deal with it? youll be stronger if you get there on your own, you don't want to be dependent on even a herb.. its just one more thing youre going to have to lift the attachment for.

ps, st johns wort affects other medications like birthcontrol do research.

usually taking good care of yourself really helps. drink your favorite tea, take a shower listen to some music and just treat yourself =) make yourself dinner!

also, speaking of dinner, what you eat can affect your balance, for example if you are too grounded and theres not enough attention to the higher regions, perhaps youre eating too much meat, or the wrong kind of meat. If you need grounding perhaps thats something to think about. If youre eatig a lot of nasty foods, you may feel cloudy and icky. Fatty foods like red meat and others weigh you down and take a long time to digest so theres a lot of activity. a good way to know is start thinking about how each food makes you feel.
Also,.....i don't know if this works for everyone, but if i were to eat a lot of carbs and sugar, ill most likely feel like **** later. but if i match the carbs with protein itll balance it out more so ill feel ok.

A few white sage leaves and a few short cut legnths of sweet grass left in boiling water for a few minutes is a pleasent drink, you can sweeten this with some maple syrup or honey if you like. Its both cleansing and relaxing.

Don't eat for just one day...next day make a tea from Yohimbe...
Steep, if you boil it it becomes bitter like many bark type teas.
Don't drink a whole cup...add honey if you like.
Don't drive.

Next try the same thing, a one day fast, always drink plenty of water, of course.
Con't fasting on second day,
Chew on Red Korean or Chinese ginseng root..no more than the size of 2~3
Pencil erasers in one day..spread them out, not all at once..forget white ginseng.
Maybe forget sleeping much that night.

After that try chewing on more after fasting or very light eating like some fruit only.
Maybe you are bigger than some people and can handle more...start with testing
first like with the Yohimbe tea.

But if you're eating heavily you will miss the sublties, which aren't all
that subtle with preparation and right attitude.
