Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah - חנוכה
The festival of lights - חג הנרות

The victory of the few over the many. The rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem after its defilement by the Selucids.

May we each rededicate ourselves to be true to ourselves and the values we cherish. May we each be a source of light dispelling the darkness.
