What sad news. I didn't know he was ill, though I must say his wistful last single seemed to me like he was saying goodbye.

A true music legend and the most inspirational singer of his generation.

A big shock. I didn't know he was ill either, but he was always a very private man. I do hope he is not remembered just for his 70s music, as in my opinion his music of the 90s, 00s and beyond was even better.
