Soul age questions

Hi there,
I'm not sure if everyone here agrees with the soul age theory, that we are all at different stages of soul development such as young soul, mature soul or old soul.

I am trying to figure out where I am in this whole thing. I also believe that anyone who ends up as an old soul perhaps went through all the soul stages earlier in their lives. I was perhaps an infant soul for longer than most people as I was quite immature and didn't have much regard for others feelings etc until I was about 11 years old.
I know that I am a mature soul or possibly an old soul due to a test I took but really not sure. I also know that you can usually tell someones soul age by the sort of attitudes they have and the lifestyle they live. If anyone else has any input I would love to hear it,

Thanks,

Hello, the age of our 'being' (I am going to use that rather than the word 'soul' because 'soul' is not who we are)... can be infinitely complex. For example, I am a new 'extension' of a rather ancient multidimensional being that pre-dates this universe. Therefore, I have the wisdom of an old being, am for all intents and purposes always was that being. But I am new in this form, in that I never existed as this personality before, and that makes me new by default.

The 'soul', on the other hand, is a vehicle for incarnation, in which our true self resides. You can have many different souls, as my true self has integrated itself into this new extension which I am of it, my souls have had to change to reflect that. For souls can only embody as much as their own evolution permits. As our incarnate personality expands, so too do we need larger souls.

Existence is far from linear. But it helps to have a starting point with your explorations into consciousness. 'Old souls' and 'new souls' is very basic, but is helpful for understanding one self during the beginning of the journey.

If we think of creation we soon arrive at the conclusion that creation is as it seems..So there fore any association with what we think of as progress..improving..getting better .. seems to fall by the way side in terms of the souls ascension (what ever that is to you ) The soul ... A thing working through me in this life.. Is doubtlessly doing what it needs to be doing using my bodily incarnation as it's vessel.

The soul's business as far as I have gathered , based upon creations mission is to experience on behalf of source. This means that If you have never dodged a parking fine..You are going to have to live a life when you dodge a parking fine..simply so that you can feed back the experience to source..Creation..

It is a bit of a downer for those who feel they are nearing ascension (whatever that is ) because if in all of their souls journey , they never did/experience a thing.. that soul has not fulfilled it's programming... Creation by it's nature seeks to experience everything and all things in no particular order. It seeks an answer it cannot find because finding that answer will destroy it.

Welcome to the Cosmic Hamster Wheel.

These tests don't prove much to be honest, but the question I ask, is why does it matter to you 'how old' you are?

Yes, you can tell from how a person behaves their soul age, but not all the time. I have written a piece on the soul stages, rather than age;

What I recommend is to not think too hard about where you fit in, but focus on your soul bonds and connections and any karmic issues instead.

It takes thousands of lifetimes to go from being a young soul to an old soul.

You have to remember, it takes about 45 - 50 years to show your true level of development.
I would say, it can give you an understanding why some behaves the way they behave, without making a judgment.

I would not agree with thousands, 100 plus yes the quickest 25 plus
and this was an angelic entity. The angelic are very focused on the task and don't play around.

To ScarlettHayden I would say, this concept only applies to those who are here in lesson.
You came here to be of service. There are many like you on this forums who probably feel like you and see it like you.
