Care of a pendulum
 

Just picked up myself a pendulum with a clear quartz crystal. Just wondering about care tips. Will it need to be cleaned and recharged like other crystals?

Of course. You would need to clean and recharge your pendulum like you would any other crystal stone. May I ask the type of stone?

It's a clear Quartz.

Frequent cleansing, especially after working with it. If it's small enough, keep it around your person at all time, do not let anybody else touch it, ever.
For cleansing, forcing a rotating movement over candle flame is good, so is bathing it in salty water. Mental cleansing is important as well, where you say that all negative/undesired energies should now go away from the pendulum and then you fill that place with your own energy. You don't need to say that you fill it with good energy because the more important thing is to fill it with energy that corresponds to your bio-field, your aura. That way the pendulum will be prepared to be worked with at all times, accustomed to your energy imprint.
