I guess I want to know who guides the spirits when they first come out of a body

No body ever goes over alone you are always greated by loved ones already in spirit,they take you over .

When one leaves the human form advanced souls look after you untill the time when you accept the passing over and learn to find your way around.

I think it depends who has gone before you, there are those in the spirit world who work with us even if we are not aware of them.

As a medium that has worked with those as they go over its varied whom is there for one's. Or whom comes in with readings. It can be family but too it can be someone that has touched ye in one's life path that ye maybe would have forgotten about in the passage of time. Like a teacher or someone that was there for one at a stressful time of life but that was not there long.

No one goes alone. Not even the worst of what we would call individuals. There is always a hand there for them to help them over to the Light.
