Happy birthday to you dear Matt---I will write more soon. I just wanted to let you know I love you so much and miss you.

I will have a celebratory dessert in your honour---looks at some Christmas lights tonight and think of you......

I remember having hot cocoa with you at the Grotto and walking around the beautiful light displays. You always enjoyed going to different places with me, exploring new things. Remember the drinking chocolate in Portland? So good!

You loved the lasagna at Nearly Normal's' I always think of you when I order it :)

I wish you could be here to enjoy another birthday on earth, but maybe you are already born and laughing and cuddling in your new parent's arms. Or maybe you are just resting and learning and delighting in the in-between life.......

I still see people who look like you---and I see their alive eyes and their smiles----their dark wavy hair----and I feel that little spark of longing. Sometimes I want to go up and hug these strangers! I see you everywhere.

I heard someone talking in an English accent the other day when I was picking out my yearly Christmas tree ornament. She said things that reminded me of how you said things. I miss your lovely accent---the gentle way you spoke---musical.

Your sister and I went shopping yesterday to find something in your memory, and we found a beautiful Christmas tree, We looked at the label and it says it was created by Matt. So thank you darling. Always in our thoughts and constant in our hearts. Love Mum xxxx

Reading these posts have brought tears to my eyes. Why do I feel such a lovely warmth and connection with Matt and with you all. For once, I know longer care for the why of things. I only know that it is so, and glad that it is so. Happy Birthday Matt, sorry it is late. Thank you forum members and have a lovely spiritual year.

This is my first day logging in since I registered and reading these made me cry. Through my tears, I know that I am in the right place. These posts about Matt are just beautiful.
