The Direct Means to Eternal Bliss

“For those few individuals who are seriously intent on Freedom, it is essential to stop using thought as a means to know the absolute Truth.”

Simple truth. However, difficult for many to accept.

An elitist club it is not. Whether in this life, the next life, or in between lives

Well, what would you like to concentrate on, my friend, the difficulty of others?

*Picture us having coffee - this is how I would talk to you --NO animosity - spiritual friends - talking it out.
Who the heck cares about difficulties.
The truth is the truth.

Without picking apart and interpreting every word in this quote ("intent on Freedom" "absolute Truth"), I agree that you can't rely on intellect in your quest for learning about the wider reality. I believe that the only way is by turning inward, to your own inner source of knowledge. Intuition helps too.

You are correct.
I started a thread here -You know what the diff is between you and a yogi?
Nothing ...except the yogi suffered JUST enough to say, "No More".
Those that can suffer more - don't reach the heights others have.
Yogis basically are wimps. LOL, Smart wimps -- that learned fast!
And don't like to suffer needlessly.

And you know who else said this? Einstein, Bertrand Russel, Jung and Psalm 46.
(Be still...) :icon_cool:

I don't see how this relates to the thread title; either "Direct Means" or "Eternal Bliss"

My experience is that more truth leads to less bliss.

I do agree with the Unknown Author that thought is not a very effective tool.
